FULTON COUNTY - A coordinated narcotics investigation conducted by the Fulton County Sheriff’s Office, Indiana State Police, Marshall County Drug Task Force and the Rochester Police Department has resulted in the arrest of four individuals in Rochester.
According to a news release from the FCSO, during the investigation, officers identified Tristin Shell, 18, of Rochester, as allegedly purchasing significant quantities of illegal narcotics via the dark web and distributing them throughout Fulton County.
As a result of the investigation, a search warrant was executed at a residence in Rochester.
During the search, investigators recovered approximately 28 grams of suspected methamphetamine, along with additional controlled substances, including prescription pills, suspected psilocybin mushrooms, marijuana and drug paraphernalia, the release states.
Shell faces the following charges: dealing methamphetamine, a level 2 felony; possession of methamphetamine, a level 3 felony; dealing a controlled substance, level 4 felony; maintaining a common nuisance, level 6 felony; possession of a controlled substance, a class A misdemeanor; possession of marijuana, class B misdemeanor; and possession of paraphernalia, class C misdemeanor.
Three additional individuals were also arrested in connection with this investigation:
•April Lockridge for maintaining a common nuisance; possession of a controlled substance.
•Lyndon Swanson for maintaining a common nuisance.
• Heather Shell for maintaining a common nuisance.
“This case highlights the ongoing efforts of our agency and our law enforcement partners to combat the distribution of dangerous drugs in our community,” said Sheriff Travis W. Heishman. “We remain committed to identifying and holding accountable those who bring illegal narcotics into Fulton County.”
The investigation remains ongoing.
