Johanna H. "Penny" Andrew, 85, of Warsaw, died at 6:21 p.m. Aug. 25, 2009, in Kosciusko Community Hospital, Warsaw.
He was born April 26, 1924, in New York, N.Y., to Jedcomo and Francescor Doma Calascione. In 1945, in New York, she married Robert Andrew, who died June 10, 1997.
She was a certified nurse assistant for a nursing home in Owego, N.Y. She moved to Warsaw from New York March 30.
Surviving are a daughter, Judy Andrew, Dryden, N.Y.; a nephew, Craig (and spouse Tonna) Metcalf, Warsaw; a sister-in-law and brother-in-law, Lorraine and Richard Brownell, Warsaw; a great-nephew, Eric (and spouse Leslie) Metcalf, Warsaw; two great-nieces, Kristin Dilley and Amy Leake (caregiver), both of Warsaw; six great-great-nephews; and three great-great-nieces. She was preceded in death by two sons, Jimmy and John Andrew, two sisters and a brother.
No services or calling are planned. Burial will be in Woodlawn National Cemetery, Elmira, N.Y.
Titus Funeral Home, Warsaw, is in charge of arrangements.
