Joe’s Kids Receives $25,000 Matching Grant From Community Foundation Of Elkhart County To Triple Impact For Local Children

Joe’s Kids announced it has received a $25,000 grant from the Community Foundation of Elkhart County to match the Dekko Foundation Challenge Grant — creating an opportunity to significantly multiply the impact of community giving.
Now through May 1, every dollar donated toward monthly child sponsorship will be matched 2-for-1, meaning each $1 given will generate $3 in support for area children, according to a news release from Joe’s Kids.
This combined $50,000-plus investment will help offset the cost of approximately 625 therapy sessions for children in Elkhart County. These services provide critical physical, occupational, speech and dyslexia therapy to children who need it most, regardless of a family’s ability to pay.
“This matching opportunity allows our community to make an even greater difference,” said Founder and CEO Rebecca Bazzoni. “We are incredibly grateful to the Community Foundation of Elkhart County for their investment in our mission and the children we serve. Monthly sponsorships provide consistent, reliable support that ensures children can continue receiving the therapy they need to grow, learn and thrive.”
The impact extends far beyond therapy sessions. This initiative contributes to improved child development outcomes, reduces financial stress for families and strengthens the overall early childhood support system in Elkhart County, the release states.
Joe’s Kids is encouraging individuals, families, and businesses to take advantage of this limited-time opportunity by becoming monthly sponsors before June 1.
