Jill Elaine TrachselNAPPANEE – Jill Elaine Trachsel, age 58, of Goshen, passed away at 2:25 p.m. Saturday, Oct. 9, 2021, at Goshen General Hospital after a short illness.
She was born Aug. 21, 1963, in Greenville, Ohio, to John Rodrick and Helen Grandlinard Henson. Jill was a graduate of Pleasanton High School in Texas. On Nov. 18, 1998, she married Dan Trachsel in Plymouth. Jill had worked in Building and Materials at Winnebago RV. She loved her Lord, the outdoors, the mountains and being with her family and grandchildren.
Surviving is her husband, Daniel Trachsel, of Goshen; son, Timothy Trachsel, of Elkhart; daughter, Megan Trachsel, of Nappanee; son, Johnathan (Lisa), of St. Louis, Mo.; son, Matthew (Deanna), of Bremen; son, Joshua (Karrin), of Cromwell; son, Caleb (Kirsten), of Lafayette; son, Aaron (Taryn), of White Sulphur Springs, Mont.; son, Casey (Ciara), of Silver Lake; son, Dakota, of Warsaw; grandchildren: Dylan, Daniel, Zachary, Alexis, Emilyn, Easton, Braxton, Chloe, Noah, Leighton, Lincoln, Kamryn; parents, Rod and Helen Henson, of Pleasanton, Texas; nieces, nephews, great-nieces and great-nephews; brothers and sisters: John, of Pleasanton, Texas; Paul (Carla), of Bremen; Sheryl, of San Antonia, Texas; Darrell (Linda), of Oklahoma; Cathie (David) Sr., Piqua, Ohio; and Julie (Stan), Columbus, Ohio.
Family and friends may call from 2 to 4 and 6 to 8 p.m. Wednesday, Oct. 13 at Thompson-Lengacher & Yoder Funeral Home, Nappanee. Funeral services will begin at 11 a.m. Thursday, Oct. 14 also at the funeral home. Pastor Jason Rohde will officiate. Burial will be in Union Center Cemetery.
