AKRON - Jesse L. Allison Sr., 75, of 58 N. Blue Gill Road, Silver Lake, died at 2:30 p.m. Jan. 24, 2010, in his residence.
He was born Sept. 14, 1934, in Canton, Ohio, to Willie and Irene Green Allison. On July 12, 1962, in Webster, S.D., he married Laura Iseton, who survives.
He was self-employed and enjoyed fishing, playing horseshoes and watching westerns on TV.
Also surviving are two sons, Todd (and spouse Shannon) Allison and Jesse (and spouse Crissy) Allison, all of Silver Lake; eight grandchildren; and seven great-grandchildren.
Services will be at 11 a.m. Wednesday at Hartzler Funeral Home, 305 W. Rochester St., Akron, with Pastor Richard Iseton officiating. Burial will be Lakeview Cemetery, Silver Lake.
Calling is from 4 to 8 p.m. Tuesday at the funeral home.
