Jerry Lyndon Knepper was born on Dec. 4, 1931, in Bourbon, to Lindon Lloyd Knepper and Velma Knepper-Fites. He passed away on Nov. 27, 2025, at Miller's Merry Manor in Warsaw. He lived a full life, marked by a dedication to his family, his community and his craft.
Jerry was a talented carpenter, remembered for his significant contributions during his time at Reliable Builders, JA Wagoner Construction and Creighton Brothers. In his youth, he laid railroad ties, showcasing his strong work ethic and craftsmanship. He graduated from Atwood High School and served his country honorably in the U.S. Air Force.
He is survived by his daughter, Jackie (Jerry) Clase, of Etna Green. He was a proud grandfather to Karen Olds, of Etna Green; Shelley (Mike) Pring, of Saint Joe; Kim Vuittonet (Victor), of Milford; and George (Kelsey) Phillips, of Bremen. Jerry was also blessed with 13 great-grandchildren and 12 great-great-grandchildren. He is also survived by his sister, Rebecca (Tom) Price, of Warsaw.
Titus Funeral Home and Cremation Services, 2000 E. Sheridan St., Warsaw, is entrusted with care of Jerry and the family. Friends are invited to celebrate Jerry’s life at Titus Funeral Home in Warsaw. Visitation will take place on Dec. 12 from 5 to 7 p.m, followed by a funeral service starting at 7 p.m.
