NORTH MANCHESTER - Jeffery V. Wood, 24, of North Manchester, died at 11:42 p.m. March 22, 2007, in Lutheran Hospital, Fort Wayne.
He was born Dec. 13, 1982, in Wabash, to Thomas and Diana James Wood. On Sept. 10, 2006, he married Whitney L. Hudson, who survives.
He was a four-year employee of Dalton Foundy, Warsaw. He was a member of Liberty Mills Church of the Brethren. He also was a member of the Sportsman and Farmers Conservation Club, Silver Lake.
Also surviving are a his father, Thomas Wood, Findley, Ohio; his mother, Diana Wood, South Whitley; a son, Memphis Wood, at home; a stepson, Talon Wood, at home; two brothers: Michael (and wife Kassandra) Wood, and Travis Wood, both of South Whitley; a sister, Cassandra Wood, Findley, Ohio; a grandmother, Lois James, North Manchester. He was preceded in death by grandparents William Alvin James and Harold and Carol Wood.
Services will be at 2 p.m. Sunday at DeLaughter-McKee Mortuary, North Manchester, with Pastors Kelly Beutler, J.P. Freeman and Erin Hurias officiating. Burial will be in Laketon Cemetery.
