TRUTH OR CONSEQUENCES, N.M. – Jeanette Wood, 75, of Truth or Consequences, N.M., and formerly of Warsaw, died April 8, 2012.
She married Robert Wood, who preceded her in death.
She first moved to Albuquerque from Indiana in 1964 and then moved to Truth or Consequences more than 25 years ago. She worked in retail sales and recently owned Palomino Courts for five years.
She will be greatly missed.
Surviving are a sister, Eula Younce, Truth or Consequences; a nephew, Thomas Younce, Truth or Consequences; two nieces, Mandy (and spouse Chris) Trujillo and Vickey Sweet, all of Truth or Consequences. She was preceded in death by her parents; a son, Steven Brown; a brother, Bob, of Memphis Tenn.; and a sister, Martha, of Texas.
Cremation will take place and no local services were held.
