SYRACUSE – Jeanette Pugh Altman, 86, of Syracuse, died at 7:44 a.m. Dec. 11, 2011, in IU Health, Goshen.
She was born July 22, 1925, in South Bend, to Robert J. and Fern Dowell McCombs. She was preceded in death by two husbands, H. Max Pugh and Paul L. Altman.
She moved to Syracuse in 2009. She was a 50-year member of North Judson United Methodist Church.
Surviving are two daughters, Sharon A. (and spouse David) Ray, Fort Wayne, and Kathleen (and spouse Don) Robinson, Syracuse; three grandsons; three great-grandchildren; two sisters, Emiline Knepp, South Bend, and her twin, Joan Peck, Marcellus, Mich.; and four stepchildren. She was preceded in death by a brother.
A memorial and committal service will be at a later date in St. Joe Valley, South Bend.
