AMBOY - Jeanette McKeefer, of Converse, died Nov. 29, 2008, in her residence.
She was born March 20, 1906, in Miami County, to Merle and Bessie Overman Powell. On April 12, 1930, she married Harold E. McKeefer, who died April 7, 1970.
Surviving are two daughters, including Sara McKeefer, Syracuse; seven grandchildren; seven great-grandchildren; a brother; and a sister. She was preceded in death by a son and two sisters.
Services will be at 10 a.m. Wednesday at Amboy Friends Church with the Rev. Dwight Elliott officiating. Burial will be in Park Lawn Cemetery, Amboy.
Calling is from 2 to 7 p.m. Tuesday at the church.
