Jean Marie Kindig, 75, died at 1:33 a.m. April 27, 2016, in Kosciusko Community Hospital. She was born Oct. 21, 1940, in Fenton, Mich., to Edward and Mary Swerdan Youngs. On June 2, 1961, in Fort Myers, Fla., she married Ronnie Kindig, Mentone, who died in December 2008. She attended Fenton, Mich., schools. She was a Warsaw area resident for the last 40 years. She enjoyed karaoke, euchre and shuffleboard; and was a kind, giving person who was always willing to help others. She was a member of the Moose Lodge and VFW. Surviving are six children: Tina (and spouse Nat) Miller, Andy Kindig and Roy Kindig, all of Claypool; and Judy Baker, Steve (and spouse Susan) Kindig and Eddie (and spouse Karey) Kindig, all of Warsaw; 15 grandchildren; 18 great-grandchildren; and one sister, Nancy Bryant, Fort Myers, Fla. She was preceded in death by her parents, a second husband, George Wright, in December 2012; and one brother, Clarence Youngs, who died in July 2008. Funeral services will be at 10 a.m. May 16 at Community Life Center, Warsaw, with Dr. Dan Cox of the center officiating.
