NAPPANEE – Jean Hall Rowland, 90, Nappanee, passed away Feb. 19, 2016, at Miller’s Merry Manor, Wakarusa. On March 11, 1925, in Marshall County, she was born to Fred and Nell Yager Hall, Bourbon. On Nov. 25, 1945, in Bourbon, she was united in marriage to Argyl Rowland, who preceded her in death. She was a graduate of Bourbon High School and resided in Nappanee for nearly 70 years, where she was a member of the Nappanee United Methodist Church. Remembered as a loving, devoted and caring wife, mother, grandmother and great-grandmother, she is survived by her two daughters, Jill (and spouse Kenton) Ervin, Nappanee, and Sue (and spouse Tim) Wildes, Chapman Lake; three grandsons: Mark and Jason Ervin, Nappanee; and Larson Manifold, Middlebury; and five great-grandchildren. She also was preceded in death by a daughter, Jett; and two brothers, James and Charles Hall. A family celebration of life will be held at a later date.
