AKRON - Jayne A. Lukens, 81, of Elkhart, died at 1:30 a.m. Jan. 28, 2011, in Elkhart General Hospital.
She was born April 1, 1929, in Crown Point, to Henry and Agnes Severance Fieler. On Feb. 4, 1929, in Crown Point, she married John Lukens, who died Dec. 10, 1988.
She co-owned and operated Simonton Lake Drugs from 1964-86. She had a private pilot license and a SCUBA divers license.
Surviving are her companion, Andrew Abell, and two sons, Mark and Dan Lukens, both of Elkhart.
Private burial will be in Akron Cemetery.
Hartzler Funeral Home, Akron, is in charge of arrangements.
