Janice T. AmadoSYRACUSE – Janice T. Amado, 57, Syracuse, died at 5:09 a.m. Friday, Feb. 18, 2022, at Goshen Hospital.
She was born June 18, 1964, in Recife, Pernambuco, Brazil, to Alfredo Bernardes and Maria Santa Maria Torres. She was married Feb. 24, 1990, in Porto Alegre, Brazil, to Alcides F. “Fernando” Amado, who survives.
Visitation is 11 a.m. to 1 p.m. Tuesday, Feb. 22 at Owen Family Funeral Home, Syracuse. Funeral services will follow at 1 p.m. Tuesday in the funeral home with Pastor Harlan Steffen officiating. Burial will be in the Syracuse Cemetery.
Preferred memorials may be given to the donor’s choice.
