Janice Lee Fawley, 76, of 4290 E. CR 375N, Warsaw, passed away  July 1, 2012, in Lutheran Hospital,   Fort Wayne.

She was born July 14, 1935, in Swayzee, to Virgil and Ada Grace Ammon Gowin. On March 25, 1955,  in Warsaw, she married Max Allen Fawley, who survives.

A resident of Kosciusko County for the past 70 years, she was a receptionist at United Telephone and later at Lake City Bank, Warsaw. She was a 1953 graduate of Warsaw High School and a member of Winona Lake Grace Brethren Church.

She will be lovingly remembered by her husband; a  son, Bill (and spouse Jonel) Fawley, Warsaw; a daughter, Jane (and spouse David) Slusher, Hudsonville, Mich; six grandchildren; three great-grandchildren; and a sister, Roma Maish, Warsaw. She was preceded in death by her parents and four sisters.

Services will be at 10 a.m. Saturday at Winona Lake Grace Brethren Church, 1200 Kings Highway, officiated by Dr. Brent Sandy. Burial will be in Oakwood Cemetery, Warsaw.

Calling is from 4 to 8 p.m. Friday at Redpath-Fruth Funeral Home, 225 Argonne Road, Warsaw.
