Janice Fay BlosserJanice Fay Blosser, age 74, of Irish Lake, Warsaw, passed away in Fort Wayne's Stillwater Hospice Home on Friday, Jan. 6, 2023, at 10 a.m.

Born in Springfield, Mo., on Oct. 5, 1948, Jan, as many knew her, was the daughter of Estel F. and Hazel M. Yates Blevins. She spent her formative years in the Springfield area and graduated from school there. She spent much of her professional life working in retail; many would remember her from Goodwill, Tepes and the Eagles. She was a hard worker and served in many roles, mostly in managerial roles.

Jan was smart, funny and loved to laugh. She was strong and independent and is remembered for her love of family. She loved all of her family but especially loved her family. She was a good cook, enjoyed baking and time spent on Barbee Lakes.

Married to James Blosser on April 30, 1994, Jan and Jim spent more than 28 years together, sharing many happy memories. Also surviving with memories to cherish are son, Kevin Watmough; and five grandchildren: Janelle, Jozie, Eryn, Cameron and Audrey; two great-grandchildren; and a brother, Gary Blevins. She was preceded in passing by a daughter, Karen McClelland; and by siblings: Johnny Garrett, Venron Kirkpatrick, Pamela Garrett and Janet Benson.

Titus Funeral Home and Cremation Services, Warsaw, is trusted with Jan's care. The family is grieving privately, no public services will be held.

In lieu of flowers, those wanting to express their sympathy should consider gifts to St. Jude Children's Research Hospital or to Riley Children's Hospital.
