Janet S. Stamper, 64, of Warsaw, died at 9:35 a.m. Dec. 31, 2009, in Lutheran Hospital, Fort Wayne.
She was born June 23, 1945, in Huntington, to Kenneth Lee and Mildred Teusch Johnson, who preceded her in death. On Dec. 2, 1961, in Huntington, she married Ted A. Stamper, who died Sept. 21, 2008.
Moving to Warsaw from Huntington 25 years ago, she was a homemaker and attended Sacred Heart Catholic Church, Warsaw.
Surviving are a son, Brian Stamper, Erie, Pa.; four daughters, Stephanie Lamb, Leslie Stamper and Melissa Baker, all of Warsaw, and Jennifer (and spouse Mikel) Perkins, Fort Wayne; a brother, Kenneth (and spouse Dora) Johnson, Huntington; two sisters, Marilyn Isaac, Huntington, and Carol (and spouse Doug) Cravens, Maumee, Ohio; and 11 grandchildren: Anita, David (and spouse Sarah), Caroline, Ashley, Tyler, Tabitha, Zachary, Haley, Samantha, Cheyanne and Austin; and two great-granddaughters, Dawshalyn and Liddie. She was preceded in death by a brother, Brian "John" Johnson, and a sister, Mary Lou Johnson.
Services will be at 11 a.m. Thursday at Titus Funeral Home, Warsaw, officiated by Msg. James Wolfe of Sacred Heart Catholic Church, Warsaw. Burial will be in Oakwood Cemetery, Warsaw.
