James William “Bill” Beigh, 61, passed away July 30, 2011, in Parkview Hospital, Fort Wayne.
He was born Aug. 26, 1949, in Kosciusko County, to Eugene C. and Anna Mae Evans Beigh.
A lifetime Warsaw resident, he worked for the City of Warsaw Street Dept. for 30 years. His favorite place to eat and hang out was the famous Breading’s Cigar Store and was a Lunch Club member. Many times he could be found at the Creighton’s Flying Field with his kites and remote control airplanes as a member of the Warsaw Aero Modelers. He also was a member and safety officer of the Academy of Modelaeronautics, Muncie. During the high school sports season, he loved to go to the Warsaw Community High School for basketball games.
Surviving are two sisters and two brothers: Doris Ann Slaymaker, Warsaw; Robert (and spouse Mary Lou) Beigh, Finley Ohio; Rosalie (and spouse James) Bonine, Culver; and Benny (and spouse Amparo) Beigh, Orlando Fla. He was preceded in death by his parents.
Services will be at 1 p.m. Wednesday at McHatton-Sadler Funeral Chapel, 2290 Provident Court, Warsaw, officiated by Richard Terry, North Manchester. Burial will be in Oakwood Cemetery, Warsaw.
Calling is from 4 to 8 p.m. Tuesday at the funeral home.
