ROCHESTER – James Oscar Wells Jr., 87, Rochester, died at 10:58 a.m. March 31, 2015, at Parkview Regional Medical Center of Fort Wayne. He was born July 22, 1927, in Peru, to James Oscar Sr. and Dolly May Harmon Wells. He first married Jean Justine Smith, who preceded him in death. On Dec. 23, 1989, near Rochester, he married Christine Whitmore Kline, who survives. He was a member of 114th Army Ground Force Band. His stint with the European tour was completed during the occupational phase. Calling is from 3 to 6 p.m. Saturday at Good Family Funeral Home, Rochester.
