It is becoming more apparent that we have in our country a growing number of people who have no moral compass. For this reason they have no reference point from which to make proper judgements and necessary evaluations in order to arrive at correct conclusions. These people are adrift on a sea of confusion which has been created by a belief that everything is relative and that there are no absolutes. In reality, they don't know where they are, where they are going or how to get there.
These people become easy targets for a speaker who has the ability to feed them a well-lubricated message that creates in them a near insatiable appetite for his agenda. He then presents himself and his program as the only solution to satisfy the appetite he has created. When he says "follow me," those who have been searching for some purpose in life gladly join the ranks, believing that they are headed for some utopia where there will be a chicken in every pot and a car in every garage. Such a speaker is Barack Obama, who I have dubbed the "pied piper of Cook County."
He has promised his followers that, if elected president, he will address the following concerns: health care, economy, education, troop development, illegal aliens, federal deficit, energy, global warming, trade deficits, outsourcing of jobs, illegal drugs, pork barrel spending, road rage, premature graying, potholes and post nasal drip. And then after lunch, he will go to work on the global situation. Quite an agenda for someone whose political record shows him to be long on platitudes and woefully short on performance.
When you consider that B. Obama is the most liberal of all our liberal senators, it should be cause for real concern. Add to that the gravity of the recent revelations that he has, for nearly all of his adult life, been a member on good standing of a religious organization whose pulpit and pews have been filled with people who are racist, bigoted, anti-semitic and anti-American. Mr. Obama has, at the very least, acquiesced to these teachings and considered them suitable for his wife and children. For those of you reading this who find his explanation to be factual and plausible, I have some prime building lots that I would like to sell you. They are located about 30 minutes due east of Chicago. Terms are strictly cash and all sales are final.
I would like to suggest to those who cannot bring themselves to vote for a non-democrat that Monica Lewinsky's boyfriend's wife is still in the race. She just might be worth a second look. Especially since she gained so much foreign policy expertise on her trip to Bosnia. Although, I would have to admit, that if she came into my house and said "good morning" that the first thing I would do would be to go outside and check.
