Jack L. Britt, 61, Warsaw, passed away at 2:53 p.m. Jan. 9, 2015, in Kosciusko Community Hospital, Warsaw. He was born Feb. 28, 1953, in Tazewell County, Va., to William Beverly Jr. and Maudie Magdaline Murray Britt. He served in the U.S. Army. He resided in Warsaw 20 years, having moved from Goshen. He was an avid reader. Surviving are two daughters, Tamara (and spouse Vincent) Hoffman, White Pigeon, Mich., and Angela (and Chris Adams) Lace, Syracuse; one son, James Britt, Warsaw; 11 grandchildren; one great-grandchild; three brothers: Robert and Billy Britt, both of Missouri, and Nathan Britt, Goshen; and a sister, Linda Hodges, Florida. He was preceded in death by his parents; his stepfather, Nathan Hodges; a sister, Geraldine Osborne; and a granddaughter, Madison Rain. Memorial services will be at a later date.
