NORTH MANCHESTER - Jack D. Michel, 64, of North Manchester, died at 8:02 a.m. Jan. 4, 2010, in Lutheran Hospital, Fort Wayne.
He was born Oct. 18, 1945, in Wabash County, to Harmon and Ellen Louise Harrell Michel. On June 29, 1968, he married Charlotte A. Cox, who survives.
He was a farmer, attended United Methodist Church, North Manchester, and was a 1963 Silver Lake High School graduate.
Surviving are two sons, Jeff (and spouse Amanda) Michel and Jason (and spouse Traci) Michel, all of North Manchester; a sister, Sandy (and spouse Mike) Harrell, Warsaw; and five grandchildren.
Services will be at 11 a.m. Friday at McKee Mortuary, North Manchester, with Pastor Larry Ray and the Rev. Edward Inderlied officiating. Burial will be in Fairview Cemetery, Servia.
Calling is from 2 to 8 p.m. Thursday at the funeral home.
