NORTH MANCHESTER – J. Brynn Jerles, 67, of North Manchester, died at 8:34 a.m. April 5, 2013, in Lutheran Hospital, Fort Wayne. She was born May 22, 1945, in Columbus, Ohio, to James B. and Martha L. Johnson Jerles. A registered nurse, she worked at Huntington Memorial Hospital for 28 years and later at Lutheran and Dupont hospitals, both in Fort Wayne. She attended Congregational Christian Church, North Manchester. She graduated from St. Petersburg, Fla., Junior College with an A.A. in nursing; earned a bachelor’s degree from Indiana University; and a master’s degree in science from Indiana Wesleyan University. Surviving are a son, David J. Cunningham (and Shelly Leifer) Cunningham, North Manchester; two daughters, Amanda B. (and spouse Jeff) Michel, North Manchester, and Christi (and spouse Tom) Miller, Kansas City, Mo.; a sister, Beth (and spouse Charlie) Janis, St. Petersburg, Fla.; and six grandchildren. She was preceded in death by a brother. A private service will be held. Calling is from 3 to 8 p.m. Friday at Congregational Christian Church, 310 N. Walnut St., North Manchester.
