BOURBON – Ivana E. Goodrich, age 67, of Silver Lake, passed away Friday, Aug. 7, 2020, in Lutheran Hospital, Fort Wayne.
Ivana was born the daughter of Ivan and Mary Calvert Rock at Rochester, Feb. 6, 1953. Ivana became the bride of Dennis Dec. 27, 1975; he survives. She has been a long-time resident of the area. Ivana loved sewing, to crochet, enjoyed reading and most of all her family. In 1971, she graduated from Triton High School and was a member of Talma United Methodist Church.
Family who will greatly miss Ivana are her husband; daughter, Dawn and husband Tom Whittaker, of Silver Lake; sons: Christopher and wife Lana Goodrich, of South Carolina; and Jason and husband Eduardo Goodrich, of Arizona. Ivana’s sisters and brothers include: Amy and husband Tim Stryker, of Goshen; Edward and wife LeeAnn Rock, of Mentone; Marty Rock, of Argos; Dale and wife Wilma Rock, of Mentone; Larry and wife Priscilla Rock, of Tippecanoe; and David and wife Teresa Rock, of Tippecanoe. Many grandchildren will remember Ivana as well: Jeff, Bradi, Angel, Elizabeth, Logan, Jeremiah, Madison, Darick and her nine great-grandchildren.
Preceding her in death is her father; grandson, Aaron; and mother-in-law, Lois Goodrich.
The family will have a graveside service Wednesday, Aug. 12 in Tippecanoe Cemetery at 1 p.m. with her brother, Edward Rock, officiating. A celebration of Ivana’s life will follow the burial at 4117 Hughes Drive, Silver Lake.
