I am writing in response to the letter from Tom Metzger titled "Neighbor Spying". He gave a Web site to check on local felons in your neighborhood, and I was ready to go on and see what kind of people were around me and my children. When I logged on to the site it has an area where you can put in your address and do a search to find the felons in your area, but first it has you check the terms and agreement of the site.
Tom, did you by any chance read them because the more I read the more I feel this is a bogus site or one that favors to the felons? It goes on to state very unusual terms for a site, one being that you have to be the age of 96 to do a search and it made rude comments about the law enforcement. I also noticed on its homepage it had other areas to click on about, making money for felons while you're in jail- felons need financing-getting a home for felons?
I am not too sure about this site, it sounds kind of like they are making fun of the offenses or make light of the people who commit the crimes. They do go on to show you names of felons and points out their location to you, but that even makes me wonder if it is really true. Go ahead and check it out again and see what you think, www.felonspy.com
