Interra Credit Union promoted Brian Ufkin to vice president, manager of small business banking.
In this role, he will oversee the growth and innovation of the credit union's small business banking division. Since joining Interra in 2016 as a consumer loan underwriter I, Ufkin has advanced through several roles, including small business lender, small business lending manager and assistant vice president, small business lending manager.
"It's been incredibly rewarding to help build our INtime Lending platform and see the positive impact it's had for our small business and agribusiness members," Ufkin said. “I'm excited to lead the next chapter by growing our small business banking division beyond lending, expanding our deposit products, digital services and other solutions that make it easier for local businesses to succeed. Supporting our members and helping them achieve their goals has always been my passion, and I'm grateful for the opportunity to continue doing that in this new role."
