After more than three decades of dedicated service, Amy Sink, Interra Credit Union chief executive officer, announced the promotion of Phil Wiens to chief growth officer.
Known for his leadership, knowledge and commitment to Interra’s mission, Wiens has been a driving force behind the credit union’s success. A respected team member and mentor, he now steps into a role focused on advancing growth, innovation and long-term member value, according to a news release from Interra.
Wiens began his journey with Interra as a college intern and has since grown through a range of positions across the organization. He gained hands-on experience in consumer, mortgage and commercial lending, and served as branch manager at the Wakarusa location when it first opened. Over the years, Wiens has held several executive leadership positions, including chief operating officer, chief lending officer and chief retail officer.
A graduate of Goshen College with a degree in business, and an alum of the CUNA Management School, Wiens brings institutional knowledge, academic training and leadership to the executive team.
