Eric Erlenwein has been promoted to assistant vice president, commercial lender II. Drawing on nearly two decades of experience in collections, retail banking and commercial lending, Erlenwein will continue helping members throughout the communities Interra serves.
As a commercial lender, Erlenwein works closely with business members to provide lending solutions and financial guidance.
Prior to joining the commercial lending team, he served as collections manager for 12 years and Syracuse branch manager for five years. "Working in collections taught me to listen and understand what members were going through so I could help provide the best possible solutions during some of their toughest times," said Erlenwein.
"Being a branch manager allowed me to focus on our members while also helping team members grow both individually and as a team," Erlenwein said. "Those experiences continue to help me as a commercial lender as I work alongside businesses to support their growth and financial needs."
Erlenwein resides in the Syracuse and Lake Wawasee area with his wife, Cara. Outside of work, he enjoys traveling in an RV, scuba diving, fishing and spending time with family.
