INDIANAPOLIS – Indiana’s unemployment rate stands at 4.3% for December, and the national rate is 6.7%, according to the monthly unemployment rate study done by the U.S. Bureau of Labor Statistics (BLS).
The BLS indicator reflects the number of unemployed people seeking employment within the prior four weeks as a percentage of the labor force. Indiana’s labor force had a net increase of 83,609 over the previous month.
