The Indiana Department of Transportation announced Monday the closure of Ind. 13 in Syracuse for railroad construction.
Starting on or after Oct. 22, crews will be rebuilding the crossing between Railroad Avenue and Medusa Street. Work is expected to last until Nov. 6. All work is weather-dependent and schedules are subject to change.
During the closure, drivers should use the approved detour of U.S. 6, U.S. 33, Ind. 5 and U.S. 30, or seek an alternate route.
INDOT encourages drivers to consider worker safety by slowing down, using extra caution and driving distraction-free when travelling in and around all work zones.
