Immigration

Editor, Times-Union:
The great Oz is telling us we need immigration reform, but he purposely evades two issues. One is that illegal immigration is not about immigration at all – it is about an illegal alien invasion!
In 1965, the Immigration and Nationality Act blocked most of the European legal immigration into the United States, while the southern border was left open and millions of invaders slipped into the country. In 1986, the Simpson-Mazzoli [Immigration Reform and Control] Act was passed, and promises were made that these changes would stem the flow of invasion. It “reformed” all right (sarcasm) – many more millions were allowed to pour in from Mexico and points south.
Simpson-Mazzoli was just another con job designed to keep the American worker sleeping. Neither political party seriously wanted to stop the invasion. They were both getting too much out of it! The Republicans were cashing in on the beggar-thy-neighbor cheap labor, and the Democrats licked their chops dreaming of an increasing voter base for their welfare state.
The Republican Party should have “charged” against the obviously coming give-away programs, but their greed afforded them nothing but lip-service resistance to this now-overwhelming problem. At least the Democrats are right out in the open. You see, the slick trick that was played is that they all knew that there is woefully inadequate funding for the enforcement of Simpson-Mazzoli. Now we have a massive demographic change and resulting cultural decline.
While millions of Europeans, South Africans, and Australians were limited to legal long lists, a flood of Mestizos simply walked in, pretty much unabated – and they didn’t live in the shadows either! I knew too many Mestizos in California that were illegal but had good jobs, big houses and nice cars. History will note how stupid the American population has been, and how traitorous their leaders continue to be.
