I did it. I really pulled it off. I am the President. No one cared that I had no real credentials to lead the most powerful country on earth. I was in the Senate for less than two years before I hit the campaign trail. Most people had never heard my name. I told them what they wanted to hear ... no new taxes, a chicken in every pot, and most of all, no more Bush politics. Crowds cheered, cameras flashed and I was on my way to the White House.
People loved it when I told them that I would break the backs of the greedy rich. And for those less fortunate, this country would become a huge entitlement program. The people had no idea of the ideology I held so dear; to right the wrongs of the past, to level the playing field, to stifle success and to break the spirit of the American people.
To complete my agenda, I will continue to push Congress to draft convoluted legislation in a matter of weeks and rush to vote in a matter of hours. If I haven't read it, I know that no one else has. I can get anything passed in an atmosphere of crisis, deception and confusion. The American people no longer matter. They actually never did. I used them to get elected. Now this country belongs to me.
I will transform this country, just as I promised. I will change the lives of the American people forever. Because, I am the President!
