Howard "Hank" Lynn Summers, 62, of 9902 E. CR 250S, Akron, died at 1:08 p.m. June 27, 2010, in his residence.
He was born Nov. 27, 1947, in Rochester, to Howard E. and Bonnie Jean Zartman Summers. On Oct. 31, 1992, in Rochester, he married Julie E. Rosenbury, who survives.
A lifetime Fulton County resident, he was a U.S. Navy veteran having served during the Vietnam era. He worked on highway construction for E&B and McMahan-O'Conner.
Also surviving are two sons, Dylan Franklin Summers and Rhett Dalton Summers; and two sisters, Karen L. (and spouse Richard) Waltz and Linda (and spouse Rich) Migonis, both of Rochester. He was preceded in death by his parents.
Services will be at 11 a.m. Wednesday at Good Family Funeral Home, Rochester, with Chaplain Jason See officiating.
Calling is one hour prior to the service Wednesday at the funeral home.
Military rites will be by members of the LeRoy Shelton American Legion and Veterans of Foreign Wars of Rochester.
