Are you fascinated by the paranormal?
Does your heart race at the sound of things that go bump in the night?
Perhaps you just enjoy hearing tales of local history.
If any of these are the case, then you’ll want to mark your calendar for an exciting event coming to the Old Jail Museum in Warsaw. The Kosciusko County Historical Society will be offering haunted ghost tours of Kosciusko County’s most active paranormal location. Guided by experienced investigators, your tour will take you through the jail portion of the building, as well as a portion of the former sheriff’s residence. Guides will regale you with stories of their personal experiences in the building, as well as employ the latest investigative equipment to perhaps document a paranormal experience of your own.
Dates for the event are Sept. 26-27, Oct. 3-4 and 10-11. Tours will be offered each night from 6 to 9 p.m. Cost is $10 per person.
In addition, this year, the society will be offering a limited number of VIP packages for those seeking a more intense experience. These packages will consist of a full-blown 2-1/2-hour investigation led by veteran ghost hunters. These hunts will take place from 9:30 p.m. to midnight nightly. Cost for these VIP experiences is $30 per person. Numbers are limited and will be sold on a first-come, first-serve basis.
Tickets may be purchased in advance online at www.kosciuskohistory.com, or can be purchased the night of the event.
The Old Jail Museum is at 121 N. Indiana St., Warsaw.
