Henrietta Myer, 70, passed away at 7:20 p.m. Dec. 15, 2015, at Miller's at Oak Pointe, Columbia City. She was born Dec. 4, 1945, in Watergap, Ky., to Henry and Bessie Hall Wallen. She was a resident of Silver Lake for the past eight years and was a homemaker. Surviving are a son, Larry Todd Myer, Silver Lake; a daughter, Jean Myer, Silver Lake; her father, Henry Wallen, Warsaw; her sister, Frances Wallen, Terrell, Texas; and a brother, William Ray (and spouse Sally) Wallen, Panama City, Fla. She was preceded in death by her mother, Bessie Wallen, on Dec. 18, 2013; and a brother, Donald Eugene Wallen, on April 4, 2013. Services were Friday at Titus Funeral Home, with the Rev. Dean Ealey, Early Apostolic Bible Training Center, Claypool, officiating. Burial was in Rose Hill Cemetery, Silver Lake. ***** Memorials to a charity of choice or simple acts of kindness may be done for others in her memory.
