Helga Tess, 55, went home to be with her Lord and Savior Jesus Christ April 7, 2015, in Warsaw. She was born Aug. 24, 1959, in Logansport, to Walter and Heidi Knauss Linn. She was their second daughter. On July 23, 1980, she married her loving husband, Glenn, who survives. She graduated near the top of her Warsaw Community High School class, attended Purdue University, studied in Tours, France, and most recently was learning digital graphic design. She was gifted with artistic and design skills expressed in various mediums throughout her life. Life activities and adventures that she enjoyed included competitive tennis, swimming, whitewater rafting and skydiving. She formerly worked at R.R. Donnelley & Sons and as a paralegal secretary for a patent agent. She attended Warsaw Community Church. She was a gracious and compassionate woman who was loved by all who knew her. She served her Lord wherever He called her, including many years leading a Bible study for incarcerated women. She gave life to those who knew her and will be deeply missed. Also surviving are her mother, Heidi Linn, Warsaw; her sister, Heidi (and spouse Mark) Jamesen; her three sister-in-laws; Brenda Chamness, Rhonda (and spouse Craig) Meyer and Paulette (and spouse Tom); and many nieces and nephews. She was preceded in death by her father, Walter; her sister, Kyra; her father-in-law, Milt Tess; and mother-in-law, Betty Tess. In accordance with her wishes, there will not be a memorial service.
