Harold KitsonSYRACUSE – Harold Kitson, 77, of Warsaw, passed away on Monday, May 31, 2021.
He was born on May 16, 1944, in Syracuse, to Harold and Rebecca Fleming Kitson. On Dec. 22, 1962, he married Joyce Hapner, who preceded him in 1995.
He was a U.S. Navy veteran and served in the US Army National Guard as well. He was a longtime purchasing agent for Walmer Supply.
He is survived by his daughter, Tonya (Rafael Rivera) Marsh, of Taylor, Mich.; two sons: Bryan (Stephanie) Kitson, of Winona Lake; and Darrin (Stephanie) Kitson, of Tipton; one sister, Patty Koble; 21 grandchildren; and eight great-grandchildren.
Along with his wife, Joyce, he was preceded by his parents; one son, Dwayne; brother, John “Jack” Kitson; and two sisters: Margaret Peterson and Janet Cotton.
Visitation will be held on Sunday, June 6 from 1 to 3 p.m. at the Eastlund Funeral Home, Syracuse, with funeral services at 3 p.m. Burial will follow at the Solomon Creek with military honors.
