MILFORD – Harlan J. Wuthrich, 84, of Milford, passed away May 26, 2013, in Lakeland Healthcare and Rehabilitation. He was born Aug. 22, 1928, in Milford, to Peter and Laura Graff Wuthrich. On Oct. 20, 1950, he married Nancy Knee, who survives. A lifelong area resident, he was a farmer until his retirement in 1988. He was a member of Milford United Methodist Church, the Warsaw Square dancers club and Syracuse Eagles. He enjoyed golfing, traveling, people and spending the winters in Fort Myers Beach, Fla. Also surviving are a son, Andrew Wuthrich, Silver Lake; a daughter, Rebecca Moorefield, Milford; three grandchildren; a great-grandchild; a brother, Glenn “Pete” Wuthrich, Nappanee; a sister, Irene (and spouse Jim) Sumpter, Milford; and a sister-in-law, Dee Wuthrich, Milford. He was preceded in death by his parents and two brothers, Wayne and Donald Wuthrich. A celebration of life will be at 11 a.m. Saturday at Milford United Methodist Church with the Rev. Rob Nelson officiating. Private burial will be at a later date. Calling is one hour prior to the service Saturday at the church.
