The reason there was not one word about this disaster in Wednesday's paper is ... ?
And the reason there was no information for local folks who might want to help in some way is ... ?
Now, I understand the message in the huge ad you've been displaying in the paper for weeks, which states, "Newspapers still deliver the most complete and local news opinion, weather, sports and entertainment." I guess the operative word here is "local."
