Habitat for Humanity of Kosciusko County is celebrating seven years of serving the community through the ReStore, a nonprofit retail store that sells donated home goods and building materials to support Habitat’s local programs.
The public is invited to attend the celebration on Saturday, May 2 from 10 a.m. to 5 p.m. at the ReStore, 3970 Corridor Drive, Warsaw.
The anniversary event will feature food trucks in the parking lot, cupcakes and special sales for shoppers. The celebration offers the community a chance to recognize the store’s impact and see how their support helps Habitat serve local families, according to a news release from Habitat.
In 2025, the ReStore sold 31,288 items, processed 8,567 transactions, and was made possible by 27 volunteers who contributed 1,554 hours.
Customers are welcome to shop during the celebration and enjoy the food trucks and treats. Donations of items to the ReStore will be accepted as usual on the day of the event.
The ReStore is open every Thursday to Saturday, 10 a.m. to 5 p.m., and accepts donations of furniture, appliances, cabinetry, flooring, lighting, building materials, home décor and more. Every item is cleaned, tested and sold to support Habitat’s mission of building safety, stability and hope.
