Gun Laws

Posted
Editor, Times-Union:

Twelve dead soldiers and 31 shot. A female civilian cop faces a gunman down with one side arm as they both blast away at each other like the OK corral. Meanwhile big numbers of battle ready troops run for their lives.

So what's the problem here? It seems the federal government doesn't trust their own soldiers to carry a side arm on base. In short the military practices what Nancy (the Wicked Witch) Pelosi or Dianne Swinestein preach about guns.

They chain up all the guns on a military base and keep them under lock and key.

Sounds like that is what they want for peasants. In your home, trigger locks and gun safes. "Pardon me Mr. Bad Guy while I unlock my gun safe and the unlock the trigger locks then you can try to rob or rape us."

Texas has an OK to carry a firearm law I think.

It is my guess that if the nut had tried this stunt a mile away from the base at a shopping center he would have had ten bullet holes in him before he got much more than a round or two off. Because a lot of Texans are armed everywhere they go. While no one on base can carry unless the General says so. And this is the same military that's supposed to defend us. Oh yes, did you hear they plan to read Al-Qaida soldiers their Miranda rights when they are captured?

Please stop this insane world and let me off.
