Gold Star Family Names Added To War Memorial At Kosciusko County Courthouse

Wording to honor Gold Star families has been added to the war memorial on the Kosciusko County courthouse lawn at the corner of Center and Lake streets, Warsaw.
Kosciusko Honor & Remember, in cooperation with the Kosciusko County commissioners, added: “Kosciusko County expresses eternal gratitude to gold star families whose loved one paid the ultimate price defending the United States of America. Their sacrifice will not be forgotten.”?
A ceremony to dedicate the wording and honor Gold Star families is 10 a.m. Tuesday in the old courtroom on the third floor of the courthouse. Participants will then proceed to the memorial for a 21-gun salute, Taps and prayer. Blue Star Banners that originated during World War I in 1917 will be changed to a Gold Star if a family member was lost in a war.
