Global Warming

Posted
Editor, Times-Union:

I haven't done this in a month of Sundays, write you that is.

First of all, I need some help with something that I heard when I was a 14-year-old or 15-year-old.

It went like this: And the Constitution of the United States shall hang by a thread. Can you or anyone finish it or tell me where it came from?

Now the reason I am writing to you and it is: I am so glad there is global warming, and some people will raise wholly hell because I wrote that but they aren't thinking. Engage mouth, disengage brain. I'm sure almost if not all people with sight have seen on the maps of the United States where the glaciers were, and today if you walk down the stairs and go to your left and look down the street to your north you may see what the results are from all of the ice that dug Center Lake, and Craig's cam wouldn't be showing Winona Lake. Also there are maps showing the North Pole without the ice. I lived off of Crystal Lake Road. The fields there have a sort of round granite rocks in them. Could use several hundreds more of them to landscape my ole Kentucky home.

Ninety-nine point nine percent of all who read this, if asked what they just read, couldn't tell you, so they should read it again and maybe again.

You know life is sort of funny. No matter your wealth or lack of it, we all end up in the same place. The man that had the room next to my mother's was a person that all Warsaw and Kosciusko County knew. From dust to dust.

Well, better close, because that global warming is really interesting.

So how hot is it in Warsaw this fourth day of January in the year of our Lord 2010. Ya'll keep warm now, ya hear?
