SYRACUSE – Glenn L. Stiffler, 83, Syracuse, passed away Jan. 2, 2014, at his residence. He was born July 26, 1930, in Syracuse to Chester and Mary Coy Stiffler. On Aug. 23, 1956, he married Lucy “Sue” Martin, who preceded him in 2004. He was a veteran of the U.S. Army. Surviving are two nieces, Connie Stiffler, New Paris, and Rachael Stiffler, Goshen; two nephews, Robert Stiffler, North Manchester, and Mark Stiffler, Goshen; one great-nephew, Jamie Stiffler; one great-niece, Jodi Rhoades; two great-great-nieces; five great-great-nephews; and longtime companion, Minnie “Louise” Wise, Syracuse. Also preceding him in death were his parents and two brothers, Roy and Emory. Graveside services with military honors will be at 11 a.m. Saturday at Syracuse Cemetery with Pastor Bob Wyman officiating.
