FORT WAYNE - Gerry L. Clark-Bodas, 76, of Fort Wayne, went to be with the Lord at 7:59 p.m. June 18, 2010, in her residence.
She was born Nov. 1, 1933, in Swamp Branch, Ky., to Bert and Francis May Conley. On Sept. 13, 1987, she married Clarence A. Bodas, who survives.
As a young girl, her family moved to Ohio and later Indiana to Fort Wayne and surrounding areas. She completed her education at Ivy Tech College. She and her husband made their home in Clinton, Tenn., until August 2009, when they returned to Fort Wayne. She was a member of Pentecostal Church of God, Grover City, Calif.
Also surviving are four children, Diane (and spouse Dave) Ryman, Atwood; Cindy (and spouse Dorsey) Simmons and Douglas Clark, all of Fort Wayne; and David (and spouse Cynthia) Clark, Etna Green; five grandchildren: Stacy, D.J., David Jr., Christine and Sarah; one great-grandson; eight brothers, Herman Conley, Tucson, Ariz.; Roger, John and Robert Conley, all of Warsaw; R.B. Conley and Dan Conley, both of Etna Green; Ron Conley, Pierceton; and Mark Conley, Columbus, Ga.; and three sisters, Vernita Cunningham, Dayton, Ohio; Joan Potter, Etna Green; and Deb Vetor, Warsaw. She was preceded in death by three brothers, Ernie, Wolford and Bobby Conley,and a sister, Wilma Jane Conley.
Services will be at 7 p.m. Wednesday at Smith & Sons Funeral Home, 207 N. Main St., Columbia City. A private graveside service will be at Etna Green Cemetery.
