MILFORD – Gerald L. “Jerry” Crowl Jr., 63, Syracuse, passed away on Dec. 11, 2013, at his residence. He was born Dec. 4, 1950, to Gerald Sr. and Ruth Behnke Crowl. On Feb. 4, 1993, he married his wife of 20 years, Colleen Mishler, who survives. Born and raised in the area, he was a local farmer and owner of Crowl’s Landing. He liked John Deere tractors and enjoyed collecting and restoring antique tractors. He enjoyed fishing, hunting and being around and taking care of people. He loved his dogs Nick and Bo. He was a loving son, husband and loyal friend and will be missed by all who knew him. Also surviving are one son, Michael Crowl, Texas; his mother, Ruth Crowl, Syracuse; three sisters: Carolyn Haggard, North Webster; Nancy Warrick, Elkhart; and Sandra Bromley, Alpine, Utah. He was preceded in death by his father, Gerald Sr. Services will be at 6 p.m. Monday at Mishler Funeral Home, Milford.
