SYRACUSE - George R. Glaser Jr., 57, Syracuse, died May 10, 2010, at his home.
He was born Feb. 21, 1953, in Chicago, Ill., to George and Joyce Nicholson Glaser.
He graduated in 1971 from Wawasee High School and attended Ball State University, Muncie. He was formerly employed at R.R. Donnelley & Sons in Warsaw for several years and lived most of his life in the Syracuse area. He was a United States Army Veteran. He was a member of the St. Anne's Episcopal Church in Warsaw and Hoosier Lakes Radio Club in Warsaw.
He is survived by a son, Vince Glaser, Warsaw; his mother, Joyce Glaser, Syracuse; his father, George Glaser, Chicago; four sisters: Jennifer Glaser, Boston, Mass.; Jessica Glaser, Brooklyn, N.Y.; Bonnie Glaser and Abigail Glaser, both of Chicago; and a brother, Kevin Glaser, Las Vegas, Nev. He was preceded in death by a brother.
Services will be at 10 a.m. Friday at St. Anne's Episcopal Church, 424 W. Market St., Warsaw, with Father Daniel Martins officiating.
Owen Family Funeral Home, Syracuse, is in charge of arrangements.
