George F. Bailey Sr.ROCHESTER – George F. Bailey Sr., 79, Akron, died at 7:34 p.m. Wednesday, Oct. 27, 2021, at Lutheran Hospital of Fort Wayne.
On Nov. 14, 1941, George was born in Iaeger, W.Va., to Clarence and Clemmie Lester Bailey.
George and Roseann Woody were married Oct. 30, 1961, in Silver Lake.
A celebration of the life of George F. Bailey will be at 11 a.m. Wednesday, Nov. 3 at the Free United Baptist Church, Sidney. Pastor Ward Allen will officiate. Friends may visit with the family from 4 to 7 p.m. Tuesday, Nov. 2 and one hour prior to the services in the church. Interment will be in the Silver Creek Church of God Cemetery.
Arrangements have been entrusted to Good Family Funeral Home of Rochester.
