Gas And Presidents

This is to Lonnie Slone concerning the letter about Obama/gas prices. It’s really discouraging that after all the drama and conflict about oil within and outside of the United States borders that American citizens still blame the president for the gas prices.
I am in no way an Obama advocate, but putting this on his shoulders is absurd. Gas prices are monopolized, not by him, but by the oil companies themselves. Did you know that they have meetings to decide months in advance what the gas prices will be? Sure there are certain natural disasters that can alter them, but they have a general idea what the gas prices will look like half a year from now.
This isn’t President Obama’s doing, and it wasn’t President Bush’s doing. This is greedy American oil distributors wanting a large paycheck at the end of the week. That is the American way, right?
So next time you “Google gas prices in America”, Google harder.
