Garnett H. Osborn, 99, Warsaw, went to be with her Lord and Savior at 9 a.m. June 11, 2016, at the home of her daughter, Sharon Mohler Puckett, Warsaw.
She was born Jan. 14, 1917, in Holstein, Neb., to Ida Alice Yundt and Joseph “Joe” Cruse. On Sept. 28, 1940, she married Leonard Voyle Osborn, who died April 11, 1999. They were married 58 years.
She grew up in Denver, Colo., where she graduated with a doctorate degree from the Denver School of Chiropody. She practiced chiropody for several years before moving to Leesburg, where she resided for 50 years with her husband and children on the family farm. She was an active member of Leesburg Grace Brethren Church and later attended Warsaw Community Church.
She will be lovingly remembered by three daughters: Sharon (and spouse Terry) Mohler-Puckett, Warsaw; Bonnie (and spouse John) Fear Brunswick, Georgia; Pam (and spouse Jim) Shipley, Winona Lake; seven grandchildren: Jill Mohler, Tampa, Fla.; Rod Mohler, Chicago, Ill.; Eric Mohler, Winona Lake; Cathy Lehman, Berne; Krista Quinnelly, Brunswick, Ga.; Scott Shipley, Warsaw; Jill Charton, Peachtree City, Ga.; and 10 great-grandchildren. She was preceded in death by a beloved daughter, Mary Kathleen Osborn, and her sister, Lois Lingle.
Services will be 11 a.m. Tuesday at Redpath-Fruth Funeral Home, Warsaw, with Trent Lehman officiating. Burial will follow with a graveside service at Leesburg Cemetery.
Calling is one hour prior to services Tuesday at the funeral home.
